Dear nash,

I don't regret anything. I don't regret meeting you.
You're probably confused right now, and I understand that. But I'm glad you were spending time with your friends, enjoying yourself.

It might seem cruel, but I planned this...our breakup. I've been praying for the courage to end things between us. You never gave up on me, and that made it even harder... but I had to do what I had to do.

I thank God for answering my prayer. I asked that if I ever found the courage to let go, I hoped there would be people around you-friends who could distract you, make you smile, and keep your mind off what happened between us.

Because no matter what we do, we really can't be together.

If leaving you is what will bring you closer to Jesus, then I'm willing to walk away. That's not a loss for me but it's something I gain, knowing you're in God's hands.

Jesus loves you.

I love you, nashingaling and I always will.
