Dear Nobody™
What it is, what the name means, and why we built it.
Dear Nobody™ is an anonymous writing site. You can write a letter to someone who’ll never read it, say what you’ve been holding in, or tell the story behind the story. No account. No real name required. You choose whether your words stay private or go to the Mailbox for others who might need to read them.
What “Nobody” means
Nobody is the address when you can’t safely use a real one, not because no one cares, but because some truths need to live outside of you before they can belong to anyone else. We’re not here to fix you, score your pain, or turn grief into content. We’re here so the words have somewhere honest to land.
Why this exists
Sometimes words need a place to exist outside of your head. Not every thought needs a reply. Not every letter was meant to be sent, only written. A lot of the internet asks you to perform: to be okay, to be brave, to turn hurt into posts. Dear Nobody™ is meant to be the opposite: a room where you can put language down and breathe.
We can’t promise you’ll feel better. We can promise we won’t treat what you carry like marketing. The same “why” in fewer lines lives in our FAQ.
What Dear Nobody™ is not
We are not therapy, a mental health service, or a crisis line. If you might hurt yourself or someone else, use Crisis Help first. The site is moderated with care under our Community Guidelines. We try to witness what you write, not to replace professional care or emergency help.
Who built this
I’m Abner Sanabria Cruz, based in North Carolina. I started Dear Nobody™ because I kept seeing people, myself included, who had things they needed to say but could not say them anywhere that felt safe. Social media wants a performance. A journal stays in your head. I wanted a place where honest words could exist without an account, a real name, or someone turning your pain into engagement.
That’s the problem I was trying to solve: give language a room for grief, guilt, confusion, relief, whatever, without asking you to sign up for anything or prove who you are. The legal entity behind the site is Intelliquinte L.L.C. That’s the paperwork side. The human side is that I built and run this, and I care about doing it responsibly.

Who runs Dear Nobody™ (legally)
The site is operated by Intelliquinte L.L.C., small and independent. We don’t sell your data or your attention. That’s how the site is designed, not something that depends on donations. If you’d like to support the project anyway, or see how money is handled, visit Support or financial transparency.
